U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services H-1B Fiscal Cap
Under current law, H-1B visas are limited to 65,000 foreign nationals. Depending on the type of profession and experience, this cap may be increased and allow certain individuals to be exempt. For example, employees who already have H-1B visa status may not be subject to the fiscal cap. Other exceptions to the annual cap may include people who work for non-profit organizations or individuals who have master's degrees or higher from a university or college in the U.S.
